Each fur client is unique in their own way, this ranges from their breed, coat type, size, temperament, condition of coat(damaged or matted).
Each haircut/bath is
handcrafted & tailored to a specific style for your best FURiends interest.
From breed specific, a personalized style, hand scissoring will incur additional fees.
I will have a full consultation with you before the Glam session to review any additional that may be needed before I begin.
I will physically assess the dematting, hand scissoring, time, skill, products needed, last Spa session & difficulty.
All final services will be priced after the full Glam session.
Dematting
(removal of matting/knots/tangles)
I do not provide excessive de-matting services or provide medical shave downs.
The first hour of grooming of a matted coat is $109 & after 40mins is then $1 for every minute after that.
Excessive hair growth, and
shedding past 6 weeks from last groom will incur additional fees.
I do reserve the right to refuse any service if your best FURiend is overly matted, skin issues that are not being addressed or is too stressed/anxious.
It's humanity over vanity. I
want to have a positive relationship with your pet, I don't want any dog to
associate me with pain.
This is when you will be referred out to a vet.
DO:
- Toilet your dog before grooming
- Bring in your own treats if your pet has dietary requirements.
- Walk your dog before the groom. This helps the dog get out energy & helps settle them for the Glam session.
DON'T:
- No not give full meals 30mins prior to their Spa session. This can cause upset stomach or bathroom incidents.
Glam Session Timing

Full Grooms 1.5hr - 3 hrs

Your FURiend(s) Spa day is very important to me.
The time allocated for your pet's session is reserved especially for you. I do understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary.
Please give 24h notice for adjustments to your appointments & for cancellations, failure to cancel prior to 24hrs will result in being charged the total amount of your service.
If you no call/no show or cancel the day of your Spa, you will be charged the total amount of the service.
If (2) sessions are missed without notice, you will be required to pre-pay per pet prior to scheduling any future appointments, & session fees will not be refunded if you miss the appointment again.
Repetitive cancellations will NOT be rescheduled at Plush & this requires you to find another salon that can accommodate your needs.
For my Sugar Daddies, Cougars or Special Needs fur clients needing Extra TLC or accommodations, an extra charge will be applied based on size & time.
Clients being satisfied is very important to me. If you are unhappy for any reason & want to request for anything to be adjusted, please let me know immediately. I will be more than happy to make any adjustments at the end of the groom. After 48hrs past the initial session, any return visit for adjustments will be treated as a new appointment.
I accept debit/credit card with Square, PayPal, CashApp, Zelle, Venmo, ApplePay, Cash & Checks.
Please let me know the details as to what can be triggering for anxiety,
I want to be able to accomodate your FURiends(s) needs.
For example, if your FURiend is anxious around other dogs I can
schedule an early or late appointment to avoid contact with
other dogs.
I recommend that if your FURiend is anxious, have them release as much energy as possible prior to their glam session. Releasing that extra energy lowers nervous
energy and helps me with comforting and communicating during the Glam process.
If your animal is on medication, please make sure they have not missed any
doses in the week leading up to the groom.
When dropping off your best friend, please try to stay relaxed, it helps them to not be afraid and that they feel safe.
In extreme cases, their maybe further interventions like consulting your vet and or trainers.
If your dog's aggression is unmanageable or too
unsafe for me or your FURiend, I recommend speaking to your vet for solutions.
I have the right to stop or cancel any & all services at any time before, during, or after grooming. The client will be charged a fee for what was done up until that point.
Again, please tell me in advance to avoid injury to your pet & or myself. This is
vital for the best outcome & safety for everyone.
If your FURiend needs specific training, that is something we can discuss or refer to a
recommended trainer.
The answer to this has many variables; the dog's
breed, the condition of the coat, the lifestyle of
the dog, how long you would like to keep your
FURiends hair, and how much at-home maintenance
you are willing to put in.
However, as a rough guide:
- Short haired dogs should be groomed every 3-4wks.
- Long haired coats that require cuts or any maintenance, should
be groomed every 3-5wks, the longer the wait the more work may need to be done.
In-between glam sessions every 2-3wks a bath & minor trimming will help maintain the condition of the coat & prevents knotting.
After your glam session, I will recommend when your FURiend will need its next Spa day.
Bordetella (bacterial kennel cough) and
Parainfluenza (viral kennel cough) are extremely
contagious and I cannot risk other clients
becoming infected and getting sick.
Please contact me immediately & when your fur baby is on the mend please reach out to reschedule their Spa day. Most importantly, I hope your baby feels better
soon.
Bringing a flea/lice infested FURiend into the salon risks contaminating other clients.
If your dog is found with fleas/lice at any stage of the groom, I will NOT continue the groom & you will be contacted immediately to collect your FURiend. There will be a fee of 60% of your dogs groom for the current appointment.
If I have to close the salon due to the fleas/lice your dog has brought in and I shall need to cancel other client's appointments, I will be forced to charge you 50% of loss of earnings for the remainder of the day.
If you are aware that your pet has fleas, we ask that you keep the animal away from the salon until it has undergone flea treatment. Again, this will help stop the spread of fleas & transferring to other clients.
I do not provide flea treatments at my salon but I can guide you to the best preventative I know or you can also talk a qualified vet or veterinary nurse about what options are best for your FURiend.
I recommend starting a puppy with grooming as soon as they get their Parvo vaccine (usually at 3-4 months).
The earlier, the better. It's ideal to come weekly or bi-weekly for a bath and tidy-up
for the first 6 months so we can train & work with your pup on getting
them used to grooming and they can socialize too!
My pet is not a fan of being groomed, what should I do?
The key is to let me know this when booking! Being upfront and honest helps us avoid any unpleasant surprises, helps me schedule in more time so your
FURiend isn't rushed and allows me to be more aware of your pet's needs.
Secondly, try not to show your anxiousness. Your pet will sense your nervousness and I do not want them to feed further into their own worries.
The most common issues I see are fear of drying, fear of the sound of the clippers & fear of nail clipping.
There might be times where the pet will have to go home towel dried, no nails done or no haircut performed. I will do/try absolutely everything I can before it gets to this, but I want the most humane and safe outcome for both the animal and myself.
Additionally, regular exposure will help your fur baby get used to the process, but it also means appointments can be shorter and more pleasant.
If your pet is too distressed I will advise you of this, and refer your baby to a vet.
If your FURiend is of advanced age, please let me know so that I can decipher if he/she can be accommodated or possibly be referred to a vet.
I can not stress this enough! Your FURiend has to be overall healthy, limited health issues & use to be handled & use to grooming.
As your pet ages there is a strong focus on providing your pet healthiness, comfort, and practicality above anything else. Things like fancy or complicated traditional style grooms or hair colouring maybe discouraged. I want to get your pet in & out in as little time and with as little fuss as possible. We have aids to assist sore old joints. Instead, I use a towel, a lower dryer setting which takes a little more time & extra TLC, so please factor this in when making any bookings.
Very unlikely but a slight possibility.
Most FURiends that come in will not be crated and I have a free-roam play area. If your FURiend shall be caged, it is only briefly between 5-30min while waiting for pickup while another pup is being checked in.
However, while some salons boast about being "cage free", for me personally, I do not think this is safe for either pets nor stylist.
If your FURiend has any issues with being crated, please let me know prior to their glam session, just so that all bases are covered.
No.
I get you might be curious & you love
spending time with your bestie but generally, animals
remain calmer and more cooperative for me when their human isn't present. We use
sharp equipment on loved FURiends and require their full attention for their safety & mines. When you're present, the animal will understandably want to be near
you, can hear you & even smell you. This can take focus off the stylist and make it
hard for them to sit still and cooperate.
